"Before we were...dating...I was in the Zeus cabin talking to Mere about her curse. And I thought I liked her, but then I met you. Then I just sent Grant in to clean up and he fell in love." Nay said thoughtfully smiling. He shrugged and caressed her cheek, "I have something for you tonight." He said. He smiled and blushed. He slipped a small velvet box out of his jacket. The box was velvet on top and kind of long and thin. "It's uh...well just open it up. It was expensive, I will tell you that." He smiled. He held the box out to her. The box contained a sapphire S necklace and a matching pair of sapphire earings.

~ Moving onto Cody, Jonah, Tyler, AND Carson all in one post! AHHH.

Cody weaved in and out of the large crowd of demigods and gods alike, light on his feet. Fortunately for him, the modest guy he is, it was freezing, so he had good reason to cover up his muscles with his jacket as well as his tux. But even with his arms covered, his face practically glowed in the harsh light, much more than it should have. He plainly disregarded it as he walked through the crowd to find the others.

Spotting Emily, a smile lit up on his face. Picking up his pace by a bit, he reached her in three long strides, courtesy of his long legs. Taking Emily's arm and spinning her around to face him, he smiled, chuckling softly. "Hey," he whispered softly in her ear. Cody then inclined his head back and peered over her head. "Looking for your brother?" Cody inquired, his warm eyes lingering above her.

When he brought his eyes back to her, he really looked at her, and was amazed. "Wow Em," he muttered. "You look... good." He eyebrows raised in slight amusement and awe. Catching a glimpse at Tyler who was raced towards us, I cracked a small smile. "Your brother's here, and he looks frantic." Cody said with a broad smile on his face.

Jonah wandered through strings and strings of demigods as he searched for his friends. Combing his long hand through his dirty blonde hair absentmindedly, he spotted Seraphine and Taylor. His eyes lit up like a christmas tree, and he jogged over to them in his suit, which wasn't particularly comfortable... but he could make do.

"Hey you two." He greeted them as he slowed his brisk pace and walked up to them. Catching sight of the cupcake in Seraphine's hand, I stifled a laugh. "Wow, not even fifteen minutes into the beginning of the dance and you're already grabbing cupcakes." Jonah said jokingly, a playful smile on his face.

He noticed Taylor standing next to her, looking a little uncomfortable. Instantly Jonah realized how he felt. Smiling encouragingly, yet with a sly and mischievous look in his eyes, he put his hand in front of himself and shook Taylor's hand.

Tyler raced through multiple people, crashing into some and apologizing extremely loudly with his head turned around as he ran. He spotted his sister and Cody right behind her. Smiling as he recognized Cody, he finally came to a halt by his sister's and Cody's side. He was panting slightly, but had a bright smile on his face.

"Hey Em!" He greeted her enthusiastically. Leave it to the old brother to be the enthusiastic one. "And hey Cody." Tyler's liquid eyes flitted over to him. "Alright, so I just spoke with Dad." Tyler started, looking pointedly at Emily. "And you know how he was never good with... well... people?" Tyler muffled a laugh as he said it. "Well, he kept on letting something slip... but I'm not sure what it was about." Tyler said, a distant, vague look in his eyes.

Bringing his attention back to the two, he started up again. "Anyway, he said something about danger, and like a different aspect of himself. But I dunno." Tyler said, hoping to leave it hanging until they got back to camp for the Cabin Leader meeting. He shrugged it off.

Stepping into the harshly lighted ballroom, Carson immediately spotted his dad. Walking lightly on his toes, he moved towards him. Unfortunately, it was naturally that times like these Carson had no idea what to say. He decided to procrastinate some, and spotted Brie sitting by herself. Carson raised his eyebrows, halting in mid-stride, and turning on his heel in the other direction towards Brie.

In five long, quick strides he was by Brie's side. "Hey Brie." He greeted her softly. "Everything alright?" He knew she was probably uninterested in this dance, she wasn't exactly the partying type, but Carson appreciated the entertainment he got from seeing her try to look pleased. Inside his head he was cracking up hysterically.

"Okay, I'm starving." Carson said, noting that his stomach had growled softly. "You need anything?" He called to Brie over the loud music.

Colby walked into the large arena, a light pink dress swaying at her knees, She kept throwing death glares at Raleigh who linked his arm with her as a escort, "I hate you Rye" She spat lowly, he just shrugged and smirked, the fact he had gotten Colby Fiser into a dress was amazing.
Colby regretted the deal, she picked out his outfit, he picked hers. And he picked a orange knee leagth dress, while Carter simply had a black button up shirt and dark bule jeans and a midnight blue tie. "Love you too, Colb" He repiled laughing, He was only her escort and not her date so they could break apart once they arrived. Both teens scanned the room for familer faces. Colby ran a hand through her heavy curls.

Emily smiled as her brother spoke to her. Then she started blushing furiously when she saw Cody who had just complimented her and her dress. She sighed. "Hello Cody." She muttered. Her face was red under a thin layer of foundation. "Thanks, you look..." she searched for a compliment to give the guy, "you look like a linebacker dressed up." Emily did a face-palm. Linkbacker dressed up? Really?! Wait, to go Em. She gave herself a mental sarcastic pat on the back. "Ugh, you know what? I can't walk in these torture devices." She grumbled slipping the heels off and into her hand.

Cody chuckled softly, an enthusiastic smile across his face. "Thanks Em, that's always what I wanted to look like." He took her hand away from her face. "Hey, don't be too hard on yourself," he whispered to her gently, chuckling. His warm eyes lingered on her face before asking: "Why don't you ever dress like this regularly?" His voice carried a smile. He stifled a gentle laugh as he saw her blushing. "Here, let me hold those for you." Cody offered softly. "Luckily I never have to wear these." He said jokingly, nodding pointedly towards his outfit. Pitch black dress shoes, as casual you can get for tuxedos, and a purely pearl white tie.

He drew closer to Emily, and turned to face Tyler. He nodded briefly, a quick understanding passing between them. One - Tyler thinks Em and Cody look good together, her fiery red hair contrasting with his dirty blonde hair. And second - they had to discuss the issue about what Hephaestus had let slip later on.

Cody let his eyes swerve back to Emily who was about a head below him. He smiled warmly, and looked up, spotting his mother growing wreaths and christmas trees around the room. "Hey Em, you want to meet my mom?" Cody whispered in her ear. "You can come too Ty." He smiled broadly as he faced Tyler again.

Why don't I dress like this normaly? Let's see...because I work in a firery forge all freakin' day? Emily rubbed the back of her neck and tried to not look totally embaressed as she spoke her answer, which was exactly what she was thinking. "Why don't I dress like this normally? Let's see...because I work in a firery forge all freakin' day?" Emily loved answering questions with more questions. "Well...the forge is at camp and well we're usually wearing welding masks, er...well I'm the only specialized mechanic there...I was working on a V8 yesterday I thought maybe I could fit in a four cyclinder if I reconnected the tubing and wires inside the engine..." She traild off as she realized that she was babbling and that Mr. Linebacker probably didn't really care about V8's and four cyclinders. Meet his mother? Well...considering it was an immortal goddess and not some overprotective hag like a mortal mom would be, it should be a snap. Emily shrugged and agreed.

Taylor shrugged his shoulders. "I wasn't really saying anything of importance.." he said. His gaze flickered over to the appraching Jonah and he gave a single nod. "Hey," he mumbled as he caught Jonah's glance. His cheeks flushed a deep shade of scarlet and he hastily averted his gaze. Finding that he had nothing else to say, Taylor stuffed his hands into his pockets. He had never been good with communication... He looked over at Seraphine, realizing how ravishing she looked. "You look...beautiful," he said witha faint smile. He silently bit his tongue. Was he supposed to say something like that? Or was it too mushy? 'Man...I've never liked this kind of talk...' he thought. His sunny gaze grazed over the people, watching as children went up to meet their godly parents. He sighed, feeling disappointed his mother wasn't here. He ran his fingers through his hair absentmindedly.
Stephanie took in a quick breath as he saw the jewelry. She looked up at Nay with a wide smile. "You got this for me? Why didn't you tell me? I would have gotten you something," she said. Although, the wide smile showed she wasn't really upset with him, not in the least. She leaned towards him, gently pressing her lips to his and not caring of the surrounding people who were watching. She pulled back after a moment with a grateful gleam in her eyes. "Thank you, it's beautiful," she said happily.
Lizzi glanced around, seeing he mushy conversations and romantic moments. She scoffed, letting out an amused snort of slight disgust. "Bah...no one here is actually this content. It's just the decorated room and the fancy music that's making everybody go gaga and googly eyed..." she muttered. Lizzi ran her fingers through her hair, grumbling quietly to herself about how stupid it all was. But did she really think that? She wished she did...but no. 'If I don't pretend they'll all reject me later...it's better I just keep them all at a safe distance. Trust and acceptance never exist completely, it all eventually leads to betrayal..' she thought sadly. She adjusted her dress and fiddled with her black choker necklace in boredom. If she wasn't cabin leader, she certainly wouldn't have come here. Her father's eyes landed on her and they locked gaze for a moment, but she quickly looked away. Her father left her...left her to be in that stupid foster system. Everyone abandoned her...If he wanted to, he could have gotten her out of there easily, but he didn't. And for that, she resented him.
ooc: Anyone wanna be brave and roleplay with Lizzi? xD

Colby sighed and looked around and seen a random girl she tugged once on Carter's arm and pushed him in her direatiocn she kept her think plae arm linked with his to make sure she had someone to blame if someone asked her about the stuipd thing she had one. Colby dropped his arm once they stood by the girl and at the same time almost like twins they each held up a hand with a smile, "Hello" They glared at each other. Carter smiled at Lizzi again, "I'm Carter Raleigh, call me which ever" she said smling largely. His dark brown eyes shining behind his brownish hair.

Brie was now twirling a curl around her index finger. Gosh, since when did boredom get the best of her? "Huh? Oh, nothing. Honestly, I'd rather do a thousand somersaults than be here. No offense. Yeah, the party is cool and all...but...." She let out an exasperated sigh. Averting her eyes from Carson's, Brie looked around for any of her siblings. No one was here except her. Maybe they thought it wouldn't be cool to come. Well, there's nothing to do about it now that it's too late. Just a split second after, she was up on her feet. No, scratch that. She was up on her aching feet. "I think I'll enjoy a walk around. Gotta get used to these heels," Brie said as she tried to stifle a yawn. "You can come if you want."

"You don't look so bad yourself." Seraphine said between bites. "And, yes, I love cupcakes. My fatal flaw." A clear, hearty laugh rung from her lips. She winked at them both before going back to devouring her chocolate treat. The icing was perfect and it melted in your mouth. But the best thing was the cupcake itself. It was the right temperature, and yet kept its chewy wholeness. Seraphine licked another dip of white icing from her fingertip.

"You didn't have to get me anything. I was just randomly walking through Zales and I saw it and thought you'd might like it." Nay said shrugging a smile. A blush crossed his face when she pressed her lips to his. Suddenly he felt a headache coming on. Nay shot up from the chair alert and ran into another room before collapsing.
Grant smiled at Mere as he tried to not let her know that he was about ready to trip over his own two feet. Yes, he was a clutz. Not too many people knew that. He twirled her and tried to not step on her feet.

I rolled my eyes and Nay and walked off, I had no one to talk to now, since Nay was busy with his girlfriend and I had lost Ari somewheres, I walked over to the piano and sat under it, listen to my mom play above me, I started singing softly to the tune, even though I never heard it, I seemed to know the words. I closed my eyes and sung softly and lowly I hoped no one heard me, because I might of had the best voice, secound my mother. but I had major stange fright.

I chuckled softly. "Well alright then." My bright gaze flickered from Emily over to my mom who was seated on her throne, looking particularly enjoyable. "And that's cool, you know." I told Em as I dragged her by her hand, weaving through crowds of gods and demigods alike to get to my mother. "That whole V8 stuff." I smiled and looked back at her. As we neared the throne, I began to get a little nervous. I haven't seen my mom since last year, and when you haven't spoken for a while, you tend to get a bit panicked. Disregarding the thought for the moments I had left, I tried to compose myself. I halted as I reached the bottom of the extremely large throne. Fortunately, my mom knew her kid when she saw it, and didn't leave it on top of a car or anything like careless moms do, so she immediately shrunk down to human size with a huge warm smile on her face.

"Hi Mom, good to see you again. Er, this is Emily..." I said, looking pointedly at her as in a "you can introduce yourself please" look with a gentle glint in my eye.
